Hi, ever since installing XPSP2 every time I unplug a USB device my computer reboots. Also, when I plug something in it doesn't make that little sound any more. This is not a major problem as I don't unplug anything often enough to do anything drastic as go back to SP1, but is a bit of an inconvenience. Has anyone else had same problem and does anyone have a solution?
Yeah, seems i have kind of the same problem without the rebooting. Seems that my network adapter which is USB doesn't work the first time the machine's starts so i'll end up having to unplug it and put it back. still haven't found a solution to that, and not really sure if that's a USB thing or not, as it's my ownly USB device on that particular machine with sp2.
yes i have this problem with my printer. if i unplug it and then plug it back in, xp suddenly thinks its a new device. very anoying
